Kellie & Mat’s Celebration at The Stables of Somersby: Central Coast Wedding Catering

On 28 March 2025, Kellie and Mat celebrated their wedding surrounded by loved ones at the beautiful Stables of Somersby on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It was one of those truly memorable days where everything felt personal, joyful and effortlessly full of love.

From the moment Kellie arrived in Mat’s prized Ford, we knew the day would be filled with thoughtful touches. One of the highlights was a custom newspaper made especially for the couple, a charming detail that gave guests something unique to enjoy and remember. It is those personal moments that make weddings feel so special, and theirs was full of them.

In the days leading up to the event, wild weather had swept the coast. But in a stroke of luck and perfect timing, the clouds cleared just as guests began to arrive, making way for sunshine and blue skies. The whole day unfolded under this beautiful backdrop, a fitting match for such a happy occasion.

Guests spent the afternoon mingling, laughing and celebrating as we served a selection of roaming canapés during cocktail hour. With drinks flowing and smiles all around, it was a wonderful way to ease into the celebrations.

Later in the evening, we rolled out an abundant buffet table, filled with a hearty selection of proteins, roasted seasonal vegetables and fresh, vibrant salads.

Buffet style catering always brings a relaxed and communal feel to an event. It invites guests to fill their plates with exactly what they enjoy and encourages conversation and movement, which worked perfectly for Kellie and Mat’s day.

Being a part of celebrations like this is something we never take for granted. It is an honour to be trusted with feeding people on one of the most meaningful days of their lives. We are always grateful to the couples who invite us into their world, even if only for a day.
