On Saturday, 21 March 2026, we had the pleasure of catering Ruby and James' wedding at the beautiful Chapel Ridge on the Central Coast. With 114 adults and 6 children in attendance, it was a wonderful celebration filled with love, laughter and plenty of memorable moments.
The weather could not have been better, allowing guests to fully enjoy the stunning grounds that Chapel Ridge is known for. As friends and family arrived and settled into the day, our team served a selection of roaming canapés throughout cocktail hour. This style of dining was the perfect fit for the celebration, giving guests the opportunity to mingle, reconnect and explore the venue while enjoying a variety of delicious bites.
Roaming canapés are one of our favourite ways to begin a wedding reception. They create a relaxed and social atmosphere, encourage conversation and allow guests to experience a range of flavours while making the most of the surroundings. With the beautiful views and open spaces at Chapel Ridge, it was a fantastic way to start the afternoon.
As the evening unfolded, guests made their way into the venue's stunning chapel space. The soaring glass windows created a breathtaking backdrop, and the Chapel Ridge team had transformed the space into a picture-perfect reception setting. The atmosphere felt elegant and sophisticated, perfectly reflecting Ruby and James' vision for their day.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when James performed a song for Ruby. It was a beautiful and heartfelt gesture that added an extra layer of emotion to an already special celebration. Moments like these are what make weddings so unique, and it was a privilege to witness such a meaningful part of their day.
For dinner, the couple chose an alternate drop entrée followed by an alternate drop main course. This style of dining works beautifully for weddings of this size, allowing guests to enjoy a seamless dining experience while still offering variety across the menu. It creates a refined and polished service style that complements elegant celebrations perfectly.

Alternate Drop Main Course:
Braised Beef Cheeks, potato & parmesan gratin, tomato salsa, cauliflower puree & almonds
Slow Cooked Pork Belly, potato & parmesan gratin, tomato salsa, apple chutney & toasted sesame
It was such a pleasure to be part of Ruby and James' wedding and to help bring their dining experience to life. Seeing guests gathered around the tables, enjoying great food and celebrating alongside the couple made for a truly memorable evening.
